This fall, the Ohio State Women in Nano (WIN) network and career conversation series continued after its successful inaugural event. This time, it featured a special guest panel from Intel Corporation.
The panel consisted of four experts with diverse roles at Intel, ranging from department managers to a program leader. Their discussion covered a wide array of topics, including their career journeys, accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities in STEM fields and areas related to nanotechnology.
The panelists included:
Jenny Clark, Ohio Manufacturing Department Manager at Intel
Lisa Meister, Ohio Site Workplace Ops and Services Manager at Intel
Gunjan Thakre, Ohio Process Engineering Department Manager at Intel
Sowmya Venkataramani, Ph.D., Program Director in the University Research and Collaboration group at Intel Labs
The event was hosted by WIN founder Aimee Price, Manager for Nanofabrication at Nanotech West Lab. It attracted a diverse audience, including graduate and undergraduate students, post-doctoral scholars, Ohio State research staff, faculty, and industry professionals.
WIN’s primary objective is to establish a supportive community for women, foster networking opportunities, and cultivate interest in micro- and nanotechnology-related fields.
