The OSU Institute for Materials Research (IMR) is sponsoring over 30 OSU students to attend this year’s Ohio Innovation Summit.
The Summit will be held April 20-21 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Columbus, and this year’s conference is titled Materials and Energy: The Building Blocks for Ohio’s Economic Future.
The OSU Office of Research, Institute for Energy and the Environment, and the Industrial Liaison Office will once again jointly sponsor The Ohio State University as a Summit Benefactor this year. Beyond this sponsorship, IMR is demonstrating its support of the Ohio Innovation Summit by directly sponsoring students to partially offset the costs associated with students attending and presenting their work at the Summit Poster Session on Tuesday, April 20.
Attendance at this conference offers students the opportunity to expand their knowledge, learn about the latest research from national leaders, and network with representatives from a wide range of companies, including national and local leaders in these fields (who could also be potential employers, licensees, etc.).
