The focus of CAFE is on advancing the state of semiconductor fabrication for next-generation device technologies, leveraging world-leading research expertise and capabilities available within our team.

The IIT Bombay-Ohio State Frontier Science and Engineering Research Center is dedicated to creating a global community of researchers, students and industry partners. This collaboration advances the creation and translation of knowledge, educates students for the global economy, and improves the well-being of our world.

The center will develop next-generation battery cell materials and manufacturing technologies while supporting the transition to electrification. It will also focus on workforce training, including reskilling and upskilling, to advance expertise in battery manufacturing.
