IMR is excited to announce the 2026 Ohio State Materials and Manufacturing Conference.

This year's event will showcase materials-allied research in a series of sessions organized by leading research centers at Ohio State.

In-person registration at Scott Lab opens at 8 a.m. on Wed., May 6 and 8:30 a.m. on Thurs., May 7.

University faculty, staff and students, as well as government and industry researchers and leaders, are invited to join us for the two-day event, which includes a poster session, keynote session, and technical talks covering a wide range of advancements in key areas of science and technology.

For more 15 years, IMR has organized this unique conference to showcase innovative research and accomplishments of the materials community at The Ohio State University.

IMR  solicits topics of interest from faculty and affiliated centers to be featured throughout the conference to ensure the range of research areas covered each year reflects the breadth of the materials community at the university, while always being different.

IMR welcomes researchers from academia, industry and government labs, as well as students and the greater community, to come together, learn, and create connections and collaborations at this event series.
