ENCOMM Seminar Series: New Directions in Materials Research

The Ohio State University Center for Exploration of Novel Complex Materials (ENCOMM), Institute for Materials and Manufacturing Research (IMR), and Center for Emergent Materials (CEM) jointly announce ENCOMM Seminar Series: New Directions in Materials Research in March-April 2026.

With the changing landscape and challenges of scientific research and funding, it becomes ever more important for the Ohio State materials research community to come together, to identify promising research directions, and to build and strengthen teams to compete for funding opportunities with a particular focus on major block grants.  Through this ENCOMM Seminar Series, we introduce 7 new faculty members, their research expertise, and scientific interests.

The following seminars will be held in the Physics Building (PRB), room 4138.

For those who cannot attend the seminars in person, a Zoom link is provided for all the ENCOMM seminars: https://osu.zoom.us/j/97665947639?pwd=zuvztRDPjCgO0RUxOg12qlIiOalo44.1
