IMR Shuttle Service to West Campus will end Friday, Sept. 27

The Institute for Materials Research (IMR) will discontinue its shuttle service Friday, Sept. 27 with the rollout of the Fall 2019 Campus Area Bus Service (CABS) West Campus schedule.

The IMR Shuttle retires after years of improving connectivity to the many state-of-the-art research facilities on West Campus. The shuttle is used by those conducting research at the Center for Electron Microscopy and Analysis (CEMAS), Nanotech West Laboratory, the Center for Automotive Research, or other West Campus facilities on Kinnear Road, such as the ElectroScience Laboratory.

CABS is a free transit service provided by Ohio State’s Transportation and Traffic Management that offers clean and reliable transportation on and around Ohio State’s Columbus Campus.

The new West Campus CABS route is scheduled to make frequent loops throughout regular weekdays, making its first stop earlier and last stop later than IMR’s shuttle service.

CABS will also offer limited summer and break service to West Campus.

Transportation and Traffic Management offers bus schedules, routes and stops, maps, guidelines for riders, and a link to download the Ohio State App for real-time CABS bus tracking.
