IMR ShuttleIMR Provides Fee Weekday Shuttle Service to Kinnear Road Research Facilities The Institute for Materials Research (IMR) offers a weekday shuttle between central campus and West Campus’s Nanotech West Laboratory and the Center for Automotive Research on Kinnear Road. The shuttle service is a key part of IMR’s commitment to improving connectivity to research labs on West Campus, transportation service which has been requested by faculty, staff, and students for some time. This shuttle may be of interest to those conducting research at Nanotech West Laboratory, the Center for Automotive Research, or other West Campus facilities on Kinnear Road, such as the ElectroScience Laboratory. The shuttle runs six times every weekday as follows, leaving central campus to arrive at Nanotech West approximately 10 minutes later, continuing to CAR, and immediately returning to central campus: 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm and, 4:30 pm Shuttle Route: The shuttle picks up at the corner of West 19th and Neil Avenues, in front of Dreese Laboratories, 2015 Neil Avenue. It then proceeds to drop off and pick up passengers at the front entrance of Nanotech West Laboratory, 1381 Kinnear Road. The shuttle route then continues on to the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) at 930 Kinnear Road, ending the round-trip back at the corner of West 19th and Neil Avenues.
