The X-ray Crystallography Laboratory , a research facility within the department of Chemistry, allows researchers to do small molecule single crystal structure determinations.  Access to the Cambridge Structural Database is available at the Ohio Supercomputer Center, or searches of this database are available upon request.

Available Instrumentation

  • Nonius Kappa CCD diffractometer equipped with a sealed tube generator with Mo radiation
  • Oxford Cryosystems Cryostream Cooler providing low temperature data collection capability down to about 100 K using a cooled nitrogen gas stream
