A wide-range of additional scientific research laboratories and facilities are available to Ohio State research faculty, students, and staff. Below are links to campus labs that may be of particular interest to IMR members.

In the College of Engineering

Department of Biomedical Engineering. BME department facilities include facilities for biomaterials and nanostructure research.

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering houses materials related facilities that are largely facilitated through several research centers, including an NSF Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center located at NanoTech West.

In the College of Mathematical and Physical Sciences

The Department of Chemistry houses support facilities of relevance to materials research that include an analytical spectroscopy laboratory, with instruments for all areas of chemistry, a nuclear magnetic resonance laboratory, a surface analysis facility, and an xray crystallography laboratory.
